Meet Our Team

Our Doctors

Dr. Michael Henricks, DVM
Owner, Veterinarian

Growing up in Southern Ohio, Dr. Henricks learned very early in life the enjoyment and fulfillment that comes from the relationships we have with our pets.  Since graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, Dr. Henricks has built his professional career on providing high quality medicine to pets, connecting with his clients, and community involvement.  Dr. Henricks and his wife Ashlie live in the area with their two children, Madeline and Mason, and their dog, cat, and rabbit.  Outside the office, Dr. Henricks enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Emily Hoffmann, DVM

We were thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Hoffmann to the Faithful Friends crew in July 2019! From the very first meeting, it was apparent how knowledgeable, caring, and engaging she is. Dr. Hoffmann’s medical ideals and skills line up exactly with how we approach veterinary medicine here at Faithful Friends, and her reputation in the local veterinary community only validated what we knew from getting to know her more. We are proud and excited for our clients and patients to meet Dr. Hoffmann and know they will appreciate the level of care she provides!

Dr. Emily Hoffmann, DVM is a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She resides in Powell with her husband, two children, and two dogs. Outside of work, Dr. Hoffmann enjoys reading, gardening, and playing in the backyard with her kids and pups. She is very excited to be joining FFVC, and believes that Dr. Henricks and staff have earned a wonderful reputation for providing compassionate care with a focus on education. Dr. Hoffmann cannot wait to take care of your furry family members!

She worked for 10 years in fast-paced emergency hospitals but has since decided that she wants to be able to create relationships with both her patients and their families. Madison got married during the 2020 pandemic to her husband Kyle. Together they have 5 animals; three dogs: Bella, Caine & Maya; 2 cats: Phoebe & Ursula (named after her favorite TV show Friends). Outside of work, Madison enjoys binging true crime documentaries, traveling and spending time with her fur babies. Veterinary Assistant

Growing up Matt was never without a pet, mostly dogs, but always understood the enrichment to life a pet brings to the household. Around 14 years ago, him and his wife Elizabeth started rescuing dogs. This started their journey advocating for rescue animals, which has expanded into a passion which we now drive with Ohio Pet Charities – a nonprofit charity that advocates for the well-being of pets through collaboration with organizations to provide education and resources to current and future pet owners.

Matt is a retired Information Technologies Professional. He was an associate at Honda companies for over 31 years. He has always had a passion for furry friends so after retirement, Matt decided to study to become a Veterinary Assistant. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three boys, and six rescue dogs. He also enjoys golf, disc golf, walking, and hiking, as well as watching sports and movies.

Veterinary Assistant

Kayla was raised in a small town on a farm. She has always had a passion for animals. Kayla has 4 cats (Trixie, Binx, Luna Tuna, and Milo), her dog (the light of her life, Willow Tree), ducks, chickens, cattle, and a white dove (Buddy). She is currently attending Penn Foster for the Vet Tech program to fulfil her dream as a veterinary nurse. Her life is never dull. She is the oldest of 3 children, and family is very important to her. Although Kayla has a busy schedule with work, school, and farm life, when she does get free time, she enjoys it by reading, crafting, exploring nature, and kayaking.

Kayla enjoys helping patients stay healthy and helping pets feel better after their visits, as well as clients feel relieved knowing their beloved pet is getting the best care.

Lauryn has 2 dogs: an 8-year-old boxer, Presley, and an 8-year-old pit, Pippin.

The aspect that Lauryn loves most about her job is being able to help pets walk out of the clinic better than when they came in.

Veterinary Assistant

Harley’s passion of being around animals stemmed from being on a farm for 12 years near her childhood home. She also worked at a pet store for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed helping customers with their fur babies. Harley has a few pets of her own. She has a 2-year-old cat named Dash, a 1-year-old Reeves’ Turtle named Crush, and 3 fish tanks. In her spare time, you will find Harley spending time with her family. She has 2 siblings and a niece and nephew that just started playing tee ball, which keeps her busy. Harley is a proud 2019 graduate of Hamilton Township High School.

The aspects that Harley enjoys most about her job are educating the clients, expanding her general knowledge in the field, and helping in surgeries.
