Michael Henricks, DVM
Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Michael Henricks is the owner of Faithful Friends Veterinary Clinic and Cat Specialty Center and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care since opening its doors. A Southern Ohio native, he discovered his love for animals and the joy of the human-animal bond early in life — a passion that led him to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
Over the years, Dr. Henricks has built lasting relationships with clients and their pets through his thoughtful approach to veterinary care. He’s committed not only to the health of his patients but also to supporting the local community.
Dr. Henricks, Dr. Saffire, and their children, Madeline and Mason, call Dublin home. Their home is shared with a cat and a rabbit — both cherished members of the family. When he’s not working, Dr. Henricks enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
Ashlie Saffire, DVM, DABVP (Feline)

Dr. Ashlie Saffire is the founder and lead feline veterinarian at the Cat Specialty Center at Faithful Friends, where her passion for feline medicine drives everything she does. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and became board certified as a feline specialist through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in 2018. She also holds both Fear Free® and Cat Friendly certifications, reflecting her commitment to compassionate, low-free care tailored to the unique needs of cats.
Dedicated to advancing feline medicine, Dr. Saffire actively participates in clinical trials and research studies. Her areas of expertise include minimally invasive diagnostics such as abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, and rhinoscopy. She is also highly skilled in advanced feline-specific surgeries, including perineal urethrostomy (PU) for urinary obstructions, ventral bulla osteotomies for middle ear polyps, subtotal colectomies for megacolon, feeding tube placements, oncologic surgeries, advanced feline dentistry, and more.
Dr. Saffire is also involved in the broader veterinary community, currently serving as President of the Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA). She is also an active member of the AVMA and OVMA and a USDA/APHIS Accredited Veterinarian, she can issue health certificates for cats traveling both interstate and internationally.
Education is a big part of her life, too. Dr. Saffire serves as a tutor for veterinary professionals through the University of Sydney’s Feline Medicine Distance Education Course, presents regularly at conferences and webinars, and mentors up-and-coming veterinary students in her clinic.
Outside of work, Dr. Saffire and Dr. Henricks, and their children, Madeline and Mason, live in Dublin. In her free time, Dr. Saffire can often be found at the barn riding Mac, their adopted retired racehorse.
Emily Hoffmann, DVM
Veterinarian
We were thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Hoffmann to the Faithful Friends crew in July 2019! From the very first meeting, it was apparent how knowledgeable, caring, and engaging she is. Dr. Hoffmann’s medical ideals and skills line up exactly with how we approach veterinary medicine here at Faithful Friends, and her reputation in the local veterinary community only validated what we knew from getting to know her more. We are proud and excited for our clients and patients to meet Dr. Hoffmann and know they will appreciate the level of care she provides!
Dr. Emily Hoffmann, DVM is a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She resides in Powell with her husband, two children, and two dogs. Outside of work, Dr. Hoffmann enjoys reading, gardening, and playing in the backyard with her kids and pups. She is very excited to be joining FFVC, and believes that Dr. Henricks and staff have earned a wonderful reputation for providing compassionate care with a focus on education. Dr. Hoffmann cannot wait to take care of your furry family members!
Emma Hart, DVM

Dr. Emma Hart brings a lifelong love of animals and a research-driven mindset to every patient she sees Faithful Friends. With a passion for feline medicine and a calming, empathetic approach, she’s here to make vet visits more manageable—for both cats and the people who love them.
After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, Dr. Hart moved to Ohio and began working in a veterinary practice. She went on to earn her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a feline-focused internal medicine internship, with a special emphasis on chronic kidney disease (CKD) and clinical research.
Dr. Hart offers thoughtful, science-based care with a deeply personal touch. She’s passionate about helping cats live long, healthy lives—and helping their humans feel supported through every stage of care. When she’s not caring for patients, you can find Dr. Hart fostering kittens, gardening, hiking, or listening to K-pop. She shares her home with five cats, two foster kittens, and Ash—a dog who’s convinced he’s part feline.
Bella Schuman, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Bella Schuman is the newest member of the veterinary team at Faithful Friends Veterinary Clinic. Her passion for animals was cemented at just five years old after a veterinarian saved her beloved dog through emergency surgery—an experience that inspired her to one day provide that same compassionate care for her own patients and their families.
Dr. Schuman earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts. Following graduation, she practiced small animal medicine in the Boston area. After several years in Boston, she and her fiancé decided to put down permanent roots in Central Ohio, allowing them to be closer to her family in Pittsburgh and his family in Louisville. She looks forward to becoming a trusted veterinarian in the Dublin community and caring for local families and their pets.
Dr. Schuman enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, with a special interest in preventive care and soft tissue surgery. She is passionate about low-stress handling techniques and is Fear Free Certified, focusing on creating a calm and stress-free environment for her patients. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Schuman enjoys running with her dog, reading, hiking, traveling and exploring new restaurants around Columbus.

Caitlin Dutcher-Lundy, RVT, VTS (CP-Feline)

Caitlin was born and raised in wild and wonderful West Virginia. Her love of animals started early on in her childhood. Her family home always had animals with fur or scales but the best was her Alaskan Malamute, Rambo.
Caitlin’s professional career, with animals, began in shelter medicine. During her time in the shelter she focused heavily on cats. She graduated from Chattanooga State where she earned her degree veterinary technology and later became a RVT in Ohio. As a RVT she has spent most of her time working in feline only medicine. Where she loved nursing advanced feline medical cases and assisting with advanced feline surgical procedures. She is Cat Friendly Certified and working with cats is one of Caitlin’s greatest passions!
Her other passion, in veterinary medicine, is leadership! In 2016 she graduated from Franklin University with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. And has since then focused on building strong teams, mentoring RVT students, and helping team members to grow.
In her free-time you can find her gardening, traveling, and hanging with her family and friends. Caitlin currently lives in Columbus with her husband Daniel, their two Frenchies Roky and Kiki, and their three cats Mona, Bubbles, and Citrine.
Lindsay

Lindsay graduated from Columbus State Community College with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2008 and worked in private practice for 20 years before joining the team at Faithful Friends Veterinary Clinic and Cat Specialty Center in September 2021. She is dedicated to helping the team provide high-quality patient care, loves working at a fast pace, and possesses a strong passion for team development. She also takes a special interest in many aspects of leadership aspects in Veterinary Medicine including practice operations and efficiency, connecting with our pet parents, implementing low-stress handling techniques, and inventory management.
She enjoys spending most of her free time with her husband and high school sweetheart Nathan and three children. They love to spend their time on their farm and in the great outdoors, kayaking, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Her two and four-legged family includes dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and one fantastic Donkey!
Madison

Madison has always had a passion for both animals and medicine, so she combined them and graduated from Bradford in 2009. She worked for 10 years in fast-paced emergency hospitals but has since decided that she wants to be able to create relationships with both her patients and their families. Madison got married during the 2020 pandemic to her husband Kyle. Together they have 4 animals; two dogs: Chandler & Maya; 2 cats: Phoebe & Ursula (named after her favorite TV show Friends). Outside of work, Madison enjoys binging true crime documentaries, traveling and spending time with her fur babies. What Madison loves most about her job is caring for her patients and feeling like she has made a difference in their lives, as well as their families.
Cameron

Cameron always loved being around animals and caring for them and knew she wanted to turn that into a career someday. She graduated from Columbus State in May of 2020 to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Her favorite part of being a technician is monitoring anesthesia during surgeries and reading cytologies under a microscope. Cameron currently has a golden retriever named Annabelle and a new kitten named Roo. Growing up she had quite the variety of pets, such as hermit crabs, birds, geckos, bunnies, hamsters, and even a ball python!
She likes to spend her free time reading books, watching movies and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
Melissa

Melissa is a lifelong Columbus, OH resident. She obtained her RVT licensure through Bradford schools. She quickly learned that she loved working with feline patients after her shadowing & early career experience. Her time with Faithful Friends has expanded her horizons and she loves working with patients of all shapes & sizes.
After work hours she loves raising her son & daughter alongside her three cats. She also loves hiking and expanding her cooking skills. Veterinary medicine has always provided a catalyst to growth & she is excited for what’s to come within her Faithful Friends career.
Jacki

Jacki always knew she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. Her freshman year in high school, she applied and was approved to Bradford veterinary technician institute. Graduating in 2014, she jumped straight into it in general practice and has been working on and off for the past 10 years. Her favorite thing about working in general practice is being able to create a strong relationship with clients and their pets and being able to watch them grow and change.
Jacki’s significant other of 13 years, Caine, Son Daniel 9 years old, two dogs, three turtles and one cat is enough to keep her on her toes. But In her free time she enjoys cooking, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Maddie recently graduated from Edison State Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and earned her Registered Veterinary Technician license. She has always had a passion for animals and is excited to begin her career helping pets live happy, healthy lives. Before joining our team, Maddie completed a veterinary technician internship where she gained valuable hands-on experience in patient care, diagnostic procedures, and client communication. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care to every patient and building strong relationships with both pets and their families.
At home, Maddie enjoys spending time with her two corgis, Bosco and Winston, and her cat, Mittens. Outside of work, she loves being outdoors, taking her dogs for walks, and spending quality time with family and friends. Maddie is thrilled to be part of the Faithful Friends Team and looks forward to caring for the pets and people in our community.

Mackenzie graduated from the University of Findlay with degrees in Animal Science and Biology. While she decides what she wants to be when she grows up, she is putting her passion for animals to work as a veterinary assistant. In her free time, Mack loves to hike and explore with her lab mix, Dwight. She is an avid yogi and likes to experiment with new vegan recipes.

Lily has always wanted to work in the veterinary field. She attended a pre-vet technical school and is currently a Zoo Science major at Otterbein University. Lily has 2 dogs and 3 cats. She loves all types of music and enjoys playing video games. Quiet but witty, Lily looks forward to seeing cute puppies every day. She enjoys being part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of each beloved pet and its owner.
Abagail

Abagail is originally from Hudson, OH and came to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. She graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s in international relations and diplomacy, but having graduated during the pandemic, Abagail found her next career path working with animals. She began her veterinary career at a feline-only practice where she worked for over two years before transitioning to a dog and cat practice.
She is a self-described crazy cat lady that specializes in feline care, having her Cat Friendly Certification through the AAFP, but is excited to learn more about canine medicine and behavior. She loves being able to work with animals and is eager to learn as much as she can about the veterinary field. Abagail is also the owner and founder of Shepherd’s Pet Care LLC, where she provides pet sitting and at-home services for families all around Columbus.
She resides in Dublin with her husband Aaron and three cats, Matteo, Dakota, and Riko. In her free time she enjoys watching anime and spending time outside!
Brie

Brie is a young woman with a heart for animals and the outdoors. From horses to household pets, she has a natural connection with every creature she meets. Her compassion and caring spirit shine through her relationships with both people and animals. A former member of the National Junior Honor Society, Brie has always balanced academics with curiosity, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. When she isn’t studying or helping others, you’ll find her outside — exploring nature, spending time with horses, or simply soaking up sunshine and fresh air. She plans to attend Columbus State University to become a vet tech and potentially a large animal veterinarian!

Anna was born and raised in Columbus and has had a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up with three dogs inspired her love for animal care and led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She is currently attending Columbus State Community College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Outside of work and school, she volunteers at a local animal shelter and is a proud cat mom to two cats, Lemon and Mango.
Kali

Kali has worked in veterinary medicine for 9 years. She spent most of that time in emergency medicine but was often disheartened by the inability to see those patients care through from start to finish. Kali was unable form real, lasting, bonds with the pets and their pet parents, so she decided to move her focus to general practice, and is glad that she did! She is also a senior at tOSU studying zoology with the intentions of applying to veterinary schools in the coming years. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is the ability to advocate and educate for the animals that have no ability to speak for themselves.
Kali has had many animals, including her soul dog of 13 years, Spot, turtles, hedgehogs, and many more. Currently she has one tabby cat, and his name is Mr. Bean. She’s a busy-body who loves to be outdoors, usually hiking or kayaking, and likes to attend concerts regularly.

Kyle is a Veterinary Assistant at Faithful Friends who brings both passion and purpose to his work. Currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program through Penn Foster, he is diligently working toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. His professional goals don’t stop there—upon completion of his RVT credentials, Kyle plans to pursue a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Behavior, driven by a deep interest in strengthening the human-animal bond and improving the lives of pets through compassionate, informed care.
Outside of the clinic, Kyle’s drive for excellence continues. He is an avid competitive gamer, a talented musician who channels creativity into his craft, and a hands-on electronics enthusiast. Kyle approaches everything he does with focus, curiosity, and heart.
Jordan

Since Jordan can remember she has always had a special place in her heart for animals. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio with many species for pets. That included dogs, cats, goats, sheep, rabbits, and chickens. After graduating high school, Jordan knew she wanted to pursue a career working with animals. With that in mind, she became a student at The Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College working towards earning her bachelor’s in animal science and associates of veterinary technology. Once finished with school Jordan plans to take the VTNE and become a registered veterinary technician.
Outside of school and work Jordan enjoys exploring the outdoors, watching a good comedy movie, and spending time with friends and family.

Theresa came from her home in Hawaii to her second home in Ohio, where she met her husband and raised 5 kids. She’s become a huge Buckeye fan sending 2 of her kids to Ohio State. After working several years as a nurse, she turned her love of animals into rescue work, fostering & finding forever homes for puppies & kittens. She currently owns 2 rescue dogs, Baby and Elvis.
Krista
Client Care Representative
Krista loves all kinds of animals, especially her seven dogs, horse that she absolutely adores, and her one cat. Animals have always been a huge part of her life. She also has one sibling, her sister, Tracy, who encouraged her to buy her horse. You could definitely say that going to horse shows is one of her favorite hobbies!
She has two children. Her oldest daughter, Madyson, and her husband, Corey, have two beautiful children, Brooks and Lainey. Her son, Casey, has a little boy named Knox. Her children and grandchildren are truly her whole world.
Krista is a big Tennessee Volunteers fan and also a big Buckeye fan. She grew up in Ohio, but her parents were from Tennessee, so her heart has always cheered for both teams. She also enjoys spending time at her second home in Norris, Tennessee, where her family originated from and where many special memories have been made.
She is so happy and blessed to be part of a company like Faithful Friends, and can’t wait to get to know our pet parents and their pets.
